This book had a few technical issues - the present tense/third person jarred me out of the narrative at times, as did some of the flashbacks. But it all rolled on in a well-paced way to a deliciously silly and over-the-top climax; and it didn't take itself too seriously, or over-focus on the romance. Good fun.
